iconfluence
Beck; not the fairy or the singer, or even the footballer. Just a girl from the Lou who loves to make icons in the nature of a famous Julie Andrews song. ... Ya with me? No? Favorite Things - Sound of Music - check it out. Anyway, my icons and graphics are posted to citadel_icons and all my other nonsense goes here. I love adding new friends and I collect comments like Pogs in 1997. <3

Literature
HARRY POTTER. Srsly. But who doesn't love the Boy Who Lived? Snape. That's who. Anyway, I'm also a Tolkien enthusiast and Gregory Maguire has been known to do it to it for me. I'll read pretty much anything you toss at me if it's historical or fantastical. Even sci-fi, hell, I'm easy. |

On Screen
Food Network. (Yes, I'm an eater. Yum, yum, food.) I don't watch a lot of TV; but I like the non-retarded reality networks - HGTV, etc. As for films, well, we're all movie buffs these days, aren't we? I will unashamedly knock off my top ten favorite flicks, and if you'd like to know more, check out my interests below. Lord of the Rings (trilogy - it's cheating, I know), Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, X2: X-Men United, Disney's Hercules, Josie and the Pussycats, RENT, Casper, Finding Neverland, Moulin Rouge & The Bird Cage. So many more. So little time. How's that for well-rounded? |

Music
Music - ah, my forte. Hah. Ahem, anyway, I'm really down with artists working together - half the time it rocks, the other half blows, but you always end up with something really unique when genres collide. That's awesome. I used to be strictly into big band, doo-wop and jazz, but more recently started digging folks like Timbaland, Rhianna, Jay-Z, Justin (you know which one), Christina Aguilera, Lenny Kravitz and so on. ANYTHING WITH SOUL. Damn people, it's music, not another format to shove your emo poems down our throats, plzkthnx. I'm also totally fine with rocking out to musical soundtracks and loads of indie artists who are too numerous to mention. Ethnic music in general rocks, too - Celtic, African, Italian, Native American. That's what feels real and sounds good to me. |
